“The Lonergan Review” Issues Call for Papers

From the editorial staff of The Lonergan Review:

“The 9th volume of The Lonergan Review (Seton Hall University), ‘Developing Positions,’ will be devoted to examining how Lonergan’s thought might help develop critical realist positions in diverse disciplines, including how it can address methodological problems internal to those disciplines, open up new possibilities for research, and further develop insights. We invite submissions of 5,000 – 7,000 words (including footnotes).

All articles will be submitted to a blind, peer-review process. The Lonergan Review is a yearly journal of Lonergan Studies that invites submissions examining Lonergan’s relevance to areas within philosophy, theology, and religious studies as well as his relevance for the broader human, social, and empirical sciences.

All texts should be prepared for blind review by using double-spaced, 12 pt. Times New Roman font. Please send your article to lonerganreviewsubmissions@shu.edu by February 2nd.

We also invite book reviews of recent monographs and collections engaging Lonergan’s thought in some way. These should be 1,500 words and submitted to the address above.”
